Since inception, Elle NYTT has staged four full dance productions in 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2014. The performing members have grown to almost 40 in number, and are available for corporate events, theatrical productions, music videos, television commercials, print advertising and live performances. The company gained widespread popularity through performing and touring with Soca Artists Machel Montano (Monk Monte), Kes the Band, Destra Garcia and Nadia Batson. A major contribution to the Elle NYTT brand was a touring engagement in 2010 with international artist Pitbull. Our work has been showcased in venues such as Madison Square Garden, Barclay’s Center and Radio City Music Hall.
Elle NYTT’s mission is to support, promote, and showcase distinct dance styles and to develop the dance industry in Trinidad and Tobago, as well as promote Caribbean culture abroad. This unique company breaks barriers and encourages a variety of dance voices to be heard on an international stage. With two firmly established branches, Elle NYTT continues to explore and build relationships domestically and internationally encouraging everyone to experience different styles of dance.
