Steve was senior producer at Tramway, Glasgow for 14 years. A fine arts graduate and an artist of performance and film/installation, Steve also spent 4 years as a special advisor for both the Dance and Drama departments at the Scottish Arts Council and was a founding member of the Arts Council England funded ‘Guardians of Doubt’.
His career in Arts Programming / Production, has taken Steve from the Zap Club in Brighton via the Third Eye Centre and work in various site specific locations - from empty swimming pools to Motorway fly-overs.
In 2010 he produced the city wide IETM Glasgow Plenary and formed his own company - TACTICAL A.U. - which aims to develop, support and advance the artistic ambitions of Scottish based artists both here in the UK and abroad while continuing to work with some of the most exciting and challenging artists in Europe.
Over the past couple of years Steve has also re-entered the Live Art scene, performing a number of solo works at festivals such as Buzzcut, Spill and Month of Performance Art - Berlin.
Currently Steve is Creative Producer for choreographers Louise Ahl, Anna Krzystek, Jane Mason and Underhand Dance. He is also working as International Producer for Manchester based Theatre Company Quarantine.
